</head> displays after inserting php footer include

The php include for my footer works fine, but the doc title and</head> highlighted in yellow shows up before the footer and after the closing right sidebar div when not in Live View. I deleted the <title> tags in the include file, but </head> still shows up. Any ideas?

Please paste your original code here - including the PHP includes.

Included files can only be snippets - not complete pages. That means they should not include any head, body or html tags.

For SEO reasons you would not want to put the <TITLE> into in an include.

Can you elaborate on your widget question, it's not clear.

what if you insert a widget into a doc, than any scripts would not get automatically inserted anymore since that part is in the header include?

It might be easier to keep links to scripts and external CSS files in the parent pages until you have inserted all your widgets.  Then move relevant code to server-side include files.
