Flatten images in PDF?

Feb 14, 2013 8:26 PM

Hi everyone,

Well I sent my design work (used illustrator CS4) to offset printer and it came out one picture dropped.

The offset printer says beucase "the pdf was not flattened".

Now, I need to send it again to them and wondering if you could help me to avoid the same issue happening again...

How should I "flatten" the PDF??

Have been searching the solutions but not sure exactly what process I need to do.

Thanks guys.

Your printer might be trying to blame you for their mistake. If your PDF looks good in Acrobat and Reader (with the overprint preview preference on) then it's probably their fault.
