Anchor Points Disappeared

I was playing around with the guides making margins ect.

I typed some text & went to grab it to expand it & now it wont work? It seems the anchor points are locked or something?

I cant drag out the corner of a box to make it bigger or smaller either?

Any help appreciated.

Did you by chance turn off the bounding box feature? Go to View>Show Bounding Box

Hope that helps, if not give a bit more info or a screen capture of the problem and we'll try again.

Object > Unlock

Check the layer and see if there's a lock icon next to it.

Another toggle to check is Cmd(Ctrl)-H which is AI is Show/Hide Edges.
