Autoanalyzer and Elements 11

Feb 16, 2013 9:38 AM

I am running Vista 64-bit. I just installed the latest updates and autoanalyzer won't work on photos with a dimension over 4000 pixels. The autoanalyzer was working and now it doesn't. The version number still reads 11.0. Is there any way to correct this problem? I also have a Windows 8 machine and autoanalyzer works properly.

Delete one such file from the catalog and reimport it. Does auto analyzer now work on it?

    Thanks

Please share one such file. I will see if auto analyzer skips it at my end too?

    Thanks

AA worked fine when I imported this same image into my catalog.

Please try one more thing. Go to %appdata%\adobe\elements organizer\11.0\organizer and delete the files psa.prf, status.dat. Launch Organizer and see if the filters like face, blur etc are checked in preferences. You can check this through Edit->Preferences->Media Analysis.

    Thanks

    No, this can't be done.

I would suggest trying running AA in a new catalog. Though not really certain as to why its not working on this file for you.

    Thanks
