I am running Vista 64-bit. I just installed the latest updates and autoanalyzer won't work on photos with a dimension over 4000 pixels. The autoanalyzer was working and now it doesn't. The version number still reads 11.0. Is there any way to correct this problem? I also have a Windows 8 machine and autoanalyzer works properly.
AA worked fine when I imported this same image into my catalog.
Please try one more thing. Go to %appdata%\adobe\elements organizer\11.0\organizer and delete the files psa.prf, status.dat. Launch Organizer and see if the filters like face, blur etc are checked in preferences. You can check this through Edit->Preferences->Media Analysis.
Thanks

I have done some testing and I have found that the autoanalyzer will run on photos with a maximum dimension of 5015, but not on photos with a dimension of 5020. My photos are dimensioned 5184 X 3456. This leads me to believe that the system is running out of resources to process the larger dimensions. I am wondering if there is a Windows setting that needs to be changed to allow the use of more resources. The computer has 6GB of memory and 464GB of free space on the disk. It is also possible that this maximum is set within the autoanalyzer code. Any thoughts?
