How to transfer my Photoshop Elements from a PC to a Mac

I have a licensed copy of Photoshop that I would like to move from my current Windows PC to my new Mac. I know that it is a multi platform version, but I'm not sure what I need to do on the PC prior to moving to the Mac. I've tried unsuccessfully to find out via online chat. Is it just a matter of deactivating on my PC and then loading onto the Mac or are there other steps that need to be taken?

    You can run it on both. You are permitted two activations.

    hatstead - as I read through your link, it appears to be related to the organizer catalog; I use Lightroom for organization. My question was only to do with the program itself. I understand that I can run a total of two activations, I just wasn't sure if I needed to do anything on my old computer before I installed Elements on my new Mac.

    Do you have the DVDs for both PC and Mac?

    I you have, then install PSE and enter your serial number on Mac. If you want to keep your PSE on PC as well then keep it, otherwise Deactivate it from Help menu, restart PSE, quit it and then uninstall it.

    All I have is the downloaded installation that I got when I did my last upgrade. I don't believe I have the original DVD's. Correction, I have my original DVD but it contains only the Windows version.

    PSE10 usually comes with three disks.

    1. Windows 32 bit

    2. Windows 64 bit

    3. Mac OS
