Media Encoder

Feb 16, 2013 11:25 AM

I tried to encode a video from Premiere CS5 in Adobe Media Encoder.  It ran for 5 hours, has a green check to say it was rendered, but it does not appear at the target location.  What happened?

I've successfully used Encoder before without issue?

Do a search for it usng the filename you used.

It is almost certain that you mis targeted it somehow.  ( finger error !)

Did you choose the Windows Desktop folder as the destination?

That particular folder has some special properties, and can cause issues with Premiere. I have not seen any, where it was the destination, but have where media was located in it, and then Imported into a Project.

If you did not broaden your Search for the entire system, I would definitely do that as a next step. Otherwise you might have to redo the Export, but I would not choose Desktop for the destination.

    Good luck,

Oops, my bad. Ignore my comments on Windows' Desktop folder.

    Sorry,

Do a little test export  from part of your sequence.

    May show up something.
