iphone 4s video

I have some video clips from the iphone4s (1920 x 1080 resolution).  However, in CS5 when I drag them into a new item to create a new sequence with those specs, the resolution is (1440 x 1080), so it effectively squashes them.  I went ahead and editing everything that way, and I'm exporting as (1920x1080)...is that the only workflow?  I tried to set up a 1920 x 1080 sequence but it wouldn't let me?

    1. How did you get the video from the iPhone into Pr?  Please describe each step that you took along the way.
    2. If the video from the iPhone is really 1920x1080 with square pixels, Pr should interpret it that way and not as 1440x1080 with square pixels.  1440x1080 usually has a PAR of 1.3333, which will fill a 1920x1080 square pixel frame with no distortion.
    3. If push comes to shove, select the video in the Project panel, go to File>Modify>Interpret Footage, and set 1920x1080 with square pixels that way.  Then when you drop the clip onto the new item icon, you'll get a proper 1920x1080 sequence.
    4. You can't change sequence settings, but you can create a new custom sequence manually.
