Illustrator Variable Placing customized text

Hey,

I am trying to get a job automated where I need to custom the template of some business cards and save them.

Its not really that much content to change.

One part of my variables is a text that I customized by altering the seperation of the letters and stretching them abit etc.

If I copy from the library now, none of these changes is applied on the new text.

Is there a way to fix that so it will incoperate my alterings to the new pasted text?
