Hi- I am thinking of upgrading to either one of these products as my current versions do not appear to support the panasonic raw file format rw2 but would like to know if the latest versions do support this format before I buy.
RAW images from which camera model specifically are you referring to?

As the page linked to earlier states the current version of ACR should be able to handle those files.
Are you familiar with the free DNG Converter?

Note that CP's correct answer implies the fact that each individual camera model must be supported by ACR. You can't go just by the format alone. "RW2" alone is meaningless. Bear this in mind when you move to a newer camera. Check the ACR compatibility list first:

Be advised and forewarned that Camera Raw hosted by "Elements" is severely emasculated, i.e. it has only a reduced subset of the same plug-in hosted by the full version of Photoshop, currently CS6.
