how to open small browser window with fixed size from desktop

i have made a shortcut icon to add to my desktop, i need it to launch into a browser but only want the browser to be a fixed size around 300X500.

 

how is this done?

    It might help us to understand what you want if you could give us the reason for wanting to open a small size browser window from the desktop.

    As Ben said, it would be useful if knew your objective.

     

    This script in your HEAD section will work in IE, albeit with an active content warning.

        window.resizeTo(300, 500);

    Well if IE is your default browser, that script in your input form should do you.

    There is probably a way to disable IE's active content warning on your own computer(s).
