How do I load an .mp4 file into Photoshop CS6 from Bridge? I followed the video tutorial from Adobe - http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/new-video-features-photoshop-cs6.html - which says to load them into Photoshop as layers and I keep getting an error message in Photoshop that says I have to select 2 videos. So I selected 2 videos and still get the same error. I don't know what else to do.

I've also tried from Bridge to select the .mp4 file then go to File > Open with > Photoshop CS6 and I get the following error - Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document.

MP4 is MPEG-4, which is on the import list you provided.

It's a container format, so I expect whether Photoshop opens or rejects an MP4 will depend on the codec(s) of the contained media.

MP4 containing H.264 video and AAC audio, probably the most commonly used codecs in MP4, certainly open in Photoshop CS6 and play for me.

Welcome to the forum.

What is your OS?

Do you have the latest version of Apple's QT Player installed?

MPEG-4 (MP4) uses the H.264 CODEC, which is installed via QT Player, or from other sources.

Good luck,

Hunt
