Add text to video timeline?

I need to add some text to display for a few seconds before each video on the DVD.

I though I could use a subtitle, but can't figure out how to do it efficiently so I can have 1 asset and use it for every video. I will have to add this bit of text to the beginning of 20 videos or so. I'd love for it to either be a .psd or text asset in Encore that can be easily updated, if the client ends up changing the text. (i.e. update it in one place and it will update all instances being used.)

Is this possible? Any advice?

Thanks!!

This should be done in the video editing step.

I suppose you could do this with subtitles. Set the subtitles on by default. But formatting/positioning subtitles will not be as convenient as using a title or similar in  Premiere.

Aside from the video editing step, you could add a still frame.  Just put your text into a psd file.  Then have the main menu button that goes to the specified video link the psd file with the text.  You can specify the hold time.  And then have that psd file link the video.
