Feb 26, 2013 2:25 AM

I'm still having problems with this. Any new fixes/solutions?

    Workaround, 2 options

    • Use buttons with (navto) to the next page.
    • Place an invisible  rectangle button  ( targeting invisible mso) near the edge of the page and instruct the reader to swipe in that area. make the button size as long height and short width

Are you using the current set of tools? You shouldn't have any issue swiping to the next page over a scrolling frame.

Hi Bob thanks for your reply. I am using the latest set of tools for CS5.5. Should my article be a png, or does this make any difference?

    Cheers

Ok what happens when you try to swipe from the area which is not covered by the scrollable frame?

You can go easily to the next page when you swipe on an area which is not covered by the scrollable frame. Its just the area where the scrollable frame is that does not work. Have you got/had the same problem?

Hi Bob, Has this just been fixed on CS6 or should it work on CS5.5 too?

I'm using CS6 and I have no trouble moving page to page when swiping over a scrollable frame. I would strongly doubt the version of InDesign would have anything to do with this.

Could it have to do with the version of the folio? I can't remember when the ability to swipe over scrollable frames came in but I know in v20 it wasn't possible.

I would check to make sure the folio is v25.

Good point. If the folio was created using the default setting, I think

    it would be 20.
