Audio disappears from video file when imported, please help!

Hi,

When I open up a new project and create a sequence, usually I import a .TS video file that automatically gets a blue label. When I drag it into the sequence, the video appears in a video slot, and the associated audio appears in an audio slot. However, lately, on completely random video files, when I import them, they come in with a purple label autiomatically assigned to them, and when I drag them onto the sequence, there is only video, no audio. PPCS6, when I go into the video's properties when inside the software, doesn't register that the .TS file has any audio associated - yet when I look at the file outside of the software, it's fine and has audio.

Can somebody please help me? It's rather urgent and I would appreciate it.

    Also, based on another recent discussion, .ts is a "Transport Stream" that is designed for broadcast playback, not a file that is designed to be edited (I don't use .ts, so have no personal knowledge)

    OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

    Source: MPEG-2 TS (.TS)

     

    I've always recorded and edited in this format, so I don't know why it hasn't worked.

    Update: Just installed the update, didn't know there were any! It appears to have fixed it, thanks for letting me know! Hopefully it doesn't happen again, but I'll be sure to come back if it does.
