Program monitor cs5.5

I ran update on my cs5.5 and now my program monitor is divided into many smaller boxes across the top.  I can't figure out how to get back to the standard program monitor.  Any help?

    Have you tried resetting the workspace?

    Jim,

     

    Thanks for your reply.  Resetting the workspace did not help.  I have attached a jpeg of my screen with color bars on the timeline so that you can see what it looks like.  Is there anyway of removing the update so that I can get it back to what worked?

    Michael,

     

    Unfortunately, the JPEG did not attach. Use the little "camera icon" in the Toolbar in the Forum Editing Screen, and navigate to that JPEG to attach it.

    Have you tried putting them back into the interface, instead of floating?

    Drag it over a frame until it highlights purple in the middle.

    I never got it to turn purple but I selected RESET CURRENT WORKPLACE.  Is that what you meant?Screenshot - 2_27_2013 , 6_25_21 PM.jpg

    Jim,

     

    Problem solved.  I found a videocard update and uninstalled it.  That returned the program monitor back to normal.  Thanks to all for taking the time to help.
