Hi,
When I had final cut I would open the text thing which I think was a boris plugin with apple, anyway.
When making credits I would go;
written by*blank and it would auto and properly space it like in a hollywood creditroll, or any credit roll.
I find it hard to believe premiere doesn't have this in some way, shape, or form.
Could anyone help me?
Data-driven rolling credits and subtitles are unfortunately on the list of things that Premiere Pro doesn't do.
The best you can achieve is to set up the credits in an external text file, then paste the lot into a text box on a title. You'll have to manually format each line if you want different fonts etc.
See http://help.adobe.com/en_US/premierepro/cs/using/WSA2BFA98E-380E-4334- BD8A-C8D35180E673a.html
Here are some AdobeTV tutorials on using Titler:

Good luck, and hope those help.

So i need to manually space them then.
Not if I understand what you mean by that. If I understand you correctly, you want to right justify all of the titles and left justify all of the names, leaving a gutter between the two aligned columns. If that's the case, you line up the first one and then all of the others align automagically when you press the Enter key to start a new line.

In order to achieve this, look at the help file here.If you have any problems with this, let me know and I will create a tutorial.
OK, you caught me on a busy day so I didn't bother to clean up this tutorial. Maybe I will do that some other day. The "ums" and heitations might be annoying, but my wife is waiting for me to go look at houses today.
The left hand side is right justified, and the right hand side is left justified - so that is why you have to hit the Tab key first. Oh, you can go back and apply this to existing credits, but it is easier if you start it with tabs to begin with.
By the way, thanks for marking it correct. It took me up and over into my second plus mark.
I am glad you are pleased.
By the way, Andrew has a great tutorial on Rolling Credits here:
http://library.creativecow.net/articles/devis_andrew/Premiere-Pro-CS6- Basics_38/video-tutorial
His tutorial on Rolling Credits is only one of 107 tutorials he did for Premiere Pro CS6, so if you really want to learn a lot, watch all 107.
