How can I move original clip?

I have the original files on a external hard drive, I have a project that I have edited and stored locally. Can I move the orignal clips to the local drive and keep the project unharmed?

 

using CS6 on W7.

    Yes you can move clips to the internal hdd.

    But you do have to relink all.

    I have solved this well for my needs. I went to Project Manager and choose "Collect files and copy to new location". Now I have my new copy locally and will delete from the external drive.
