If you've appreciated some of the help I've offered on this forum over the years, you may also be interested in my latest book, "Cool Tricks & Hot Tips for Adobe Premiere Elements 11", a step-by-step guide to creating 50 special effects with this wonderful program.
To celebrate its release, I'm giving away a free copy on Monday, March 11. All you've got to do to enter is tag onto this thread.
And if you'd like to know more about the book -- or see demos and samples of some of the tricks I'll be showing you -- you can check out this page:
Hope you'll play along!
UPS delivered and I've done the first scan. Well done with great print quality.
Chapter 1 is the best and most concise explaination of video editing I've seen in two and a half years with this new hobby!
Chapter 2 is a fine summary of the available effects -- and how they work.
Chapters 3 through 14 show how to apply a variety of techniques creatively.
I'll not read this cover to cover. Instead it will be a front shelf reference for when I need to add some interest to a video.
Thank you Steve!
I've been using both the PrE11 guide and tips and tricks books for a few weeks and they are fantastic!
The guide is not only a good step by step primer, but it is a great reference tool as well. I love the tricks and tips book with so many fun effects to makes plain and simple clips really exciting on screen, so I (hopefully) won't bore the audience.
