Hi There,
I was about to burn a DVD, and I just realise that I can't see Encore. It is supposed to be a part of Premiere isn't it? Maybe I forgot to install it. Where can I download it /install it separately, or what do I have to do to enable it?
I'm now a Cloud subscriber, but Encore is not listed. The only thing I found was the functional content, but it doesn't seem to be the whole thing.
Help please.
Thanks.
My mistake, I found it. However, it doesn't work.
When I start it through the dynamic link it starts flashing like a christmas tree, loads anyway the timeline but shortly after crashes and need to close. If I start it as standalone, shortly after opening and as soon as after I defined a prject, new or open the one I started earlier, it crashes.
I have to burn a DVD quite urgently and I don't know what to do.
Thanks for helping...
The message I get in Encore is:
- Encore has stopped working. Windows is looking for a solution.....
Brand new powerful system, used only for video, minimal access to internet, I don't understand having any corruption in this machine.
I turned to another burner but my .m2v dvd files don't play any sound. (They are in the folder though) any idea?
Thanks.
Thank you Jim. Now my problem is to add the sound file for this video... The program (corel moviefactory pro) doesn't ask for sound, and don't even see the .wav in the folder. I would prefer using ENCORE but it doesn't work.
Apparently, many people have experienced this " Encore has stooped working " problem (found searching google)
What are your suggestions?
Should I download the functional content?
Should I reinstall premiere altogether?
Or, in order to burn a DVD correctly with another program, what type of files should I export?
Thanks.
Solved for now, Thank you Stan , I "Ran it as an Administrator" and it worked.
( problem is after that It started working everytime, Standalone or through adobe link.)
My results have been immediately better than Moviefactory pro. Best results so far have been M2v progressive.
Best picture IMO is through the adobe link. but it has to be progressive, interlaced is not great.
I will try to shoot progressive and burn a dvd through the adobe link and progressive.
About the sound I didn't know that M2V files didn't have sound. This is why there is a separated .wav file in the folder when you export in m2v.dvd
To burn a DVD you need to import these 2 files to your program. Would have been great to know that before...
