CS5 crashes

Mar 6, 2013 10:17 AM

I have a Macbook pro with osx 10.7.5 and an epson workforce 610 printer. Had been printing files from photoshop cs5 and all of a sudden it stopped printing and crashes when I try to send the file (no matter what the file size is) to print. I have reinstalled photoshop, and checked for updated drivers which my operating systems says it doesn't need. How can I fix this?

Hi there! Because the forum you originally posted in is for beginners trying to learn the basics of Photoshop, I moved your question to the Photoshop General Discussion forum, where you'll get more specialized help.

What does the crash report (the long, detailed report) say?

And have you installed all the updates for Photoshop CS5?  If you reinstalled, you probably still need to reinstall the updates.

Usually the first part and the "crashed" thread is sufficient.

Just post the crash log here. But the really important part is the thread marked "Crashed".

We need to see the rest of the crash log.  Especially we need the stack trace from the thread marked "Crashed".

Also, you are on 12.0.0, so you still need to install the updates.

Try this link.  CS5 is about half way down the page.  https://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

The Apple menu will only update Apple software.

Check for updates inside Photoshop, or go to the Adobe website and download the updates.

You need to install the updates to pick up all the bug fixes.
