When I go into Photoshop CS6 and click on Bridge it does not respond.
I have been for the past 3 days for hours on the CHAT thing with no
succes I am fedup.

If Windows OS can you find the Faulting Module in the Event log?
Have you tried resetting preferences? Hold down Crtl key (option on mac) then start Bridge from desktop icon. You will get a reset window with 3 options.
