Problems printing from PSE 11 on Windows 8

I have not had a problem with printing until this week. I cropped an image 6 by 4, chose 6 by 4 paper, selected borderless and got a 1cm white border. The image did not fill the preview window, so it is not a border problem. I have to use the slider to enlarge the preview image. Why???

    Have you tried using Actual Size in section 5 of the print dialog. Provided you set zero margins the image should fill the page without any zooming. Click image to view.

    Have you tried borderless in section 4?

     

    The only other suggestion is to click more options and choose custom and then set your own dimensions for everything.

    Of course!

     

    I have been a PSE user since version 2 and have been through Epson and Canon A3 printers for the last 8 years.

     

    The problem has only manifested itself in the past few days.  The white space around the image is far too large to be a border that is obtained by choosing a border in the print options.

     

    As you can see from my screenshot the preview is also wrong. The print mechanism merely reproduces what you see on the screen.
