Can't see "Page 1,2,3"

Mar 8, 2013 5:36 AM

Here's the URL:   http://lave0134.site44.com/dsn1568/Untitled-5.html

I don't see anything when I click on  Page 1, Page 2 or Page 3 on my site.

In my files, I have Untitled-5 and 3 other copies of the file that are named Page 1, Page 2 and Page 3.

It appears you have forgotten to upload the page1.html, page2.html and page3.html files to the dsn1568 folder or have uploaded them to the wrong location.

Have they been uploaded to the server?

check you have them as page3.html and not page-3.html or Page3.html

It must be page3.html and see if you can see them on the remove files folder

Definitely, the exact file name must be used in the links.

When you uploaded your Untitled-5.html page, you also need to upload the other pages within the dsn1568 folder. Uploading one file will not automatically upload the files it is linked to.

You also have some code errors in your html. You are missing an ending </div> for your wrapper and one of your Secondary Content class="box" divs.

it works now. And why does the baseline grid appears only at the top?

That may be due to the code errors I mentioned. I'll take a closer look

All of the images referenced in your html and css are showing up as written. What exactly is missing that should be there?

The .baseline class with the baseline.svg image is only used in the <header> and the image is showing. I can't find any reference to any image with the word "grid" in it on your site, either in the html or css.

Could you post a screen shot of what it is supposed to look like?

    What is that image from?

The reason I ask is because there is nothing like that in your current code online. You have the .baseline class (with the baseline.svg image) added only to your <header> which doesn't have any text in it.

You'll need to add a background color and image to the css for <div id="primarycontent"> that holds the actual text in order for it to show up like your screen shot.

you have zero chance of keeping the text aligned to the image grid lines across all browsers and accessability settings etc

    a re-design is in order!

I agree with Mazz, if you stick to trying to get the text to align with a background image.

It "can" be done, relatively easily with CSS3, however it won't display the lines in IE9 or lower, which in reality, shouldn't be a deal breaker. If you're interested I can whip up some code for you..
