I have a project in Premiere that is relatively large (lots of footage, effects, music, etc.) that will not fully load. The actual 'loading' window does appear, with the loading taking a minute or so. However, when the project finally opens, all clips say "Media Pending", and take forever to create thumbnails. The project has not made it through this opening process without appearing to completely create all thumbnails to only crash. Sometimes the 'Saving' window will appear, but the progress bar will remain empty. The window is then inactive, and if I try to cancel the saving, the entire program crashes. I'm not too happy about this. Any suggestions?
People would need information on your system to help you. CPU, Memory, Hard Drive Configuration, and then more info on your project.
When did the project stop working? Can you open an earlier version?
When the project has finished loading, all of the clips in a sequence have no picture/thumbnail on them, and in the editing window say 'Media Pending'. The program takes a very long time to generate any image. Usually it appears to have done this, but when I would click on the project to use it, the program would crash.
