How can I completely disable autorecovery?
So far it has caused me more problems than simply saving my own backups frequently.
I can't find any way of doing this.
click file>preferences>general and untick "auto recovery".
On a Mac and do not see anything related to autorecovery under any of the preferences.
click flash>preferences>general and untick "auto-recovery".
Looked at that screen 100 times and was ready to take a screen shot to show you and oh there it is.

So what do you do if that doesnt work and you cant turn off any auto recovery in CS6. At work, I use the 32bit version of cs6 on a win XP machine. Now, not only can't i turn off CS6 but CS5.5 has started doing autorecovery.
