Properties palette dreamweaver 3 won't move

Mar 12, 2013 8:49 AM

Hi I've just started using DW3 and the properties "floating" palette will not move from the bottom left of the screen. I know other people have had the same issue but I can't find a solution. Please help

Tommy

Can you please post a screenshot of what you're seeing so we could help? Also, I guess you're talking about CS3?

Please clarify which DW you are referring to - is it DW3 or DWCS3 (there's about a 10-year span between the two).

Where are you clicking on the panel to drag it?

My old MX2004 version has the drag bar on only the left edge of the panel.

Is your Windows Taskbar set to "auto hide" itself?

Of the people that answer posts here, I'll bet that fewer than 30% of them have ever used DW3, which is vintage 1999-2000. I'm guessing that there is some issue between a 15-year old program and a contemporary OS (which OS are you using?).

    What OS are you using?

Try running DW3 in Compatibility mode for Windows XP to see if that helps at all.

I don't think so.  DW3 is just too ancient...

Why not get DW CS6 for a 30-day free trial?

    http://www.adobe.com/products/dreamweaver.html

Creative Cloud subscription to DW is as low as $19.99/month.
