Cannot Download or Install Muse

I have a Creative Cloud membership and I have tried to download Muse thru the Applications Manager and all it does is say downloading and the bar never changes..have waited for hours and there is no progress bar. In fact, the AAM won't even update current programs let alone install programs. Is this a firewall issue?

So, I tried to download the trial version and after I get to the install screen the next window says "This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."

Never had this problem before. I was able to download, install and open Edge Reflow and Animate with no troubles. Just not sure why Muse is proving to be so difficult.

Any ideas?

was not well uninstalled, i gave them a hard time a little. i'm on mac if you are not still follow the links and go back on its track to find the pc page.
