CKeditor plus Upload Image facility

Anyone using an upload and view gallery images solution with CKeditor?

 

I don't mind a paid for version BUT rather would not go down a licensing solution such as CKFinder, which integrates well. I found a free solution that works from the upload point of view but doesn't come with gallery of images feature.

 

This commercially available one looks good and cheap but says it's not yet compatible with v4 of CKeditor:

I guess I could drop back to v3 of CKeditor

    Have you tried Doksoft plugins? http://doksoft.com/soft/ckutils/index.html - Works with v3 and v4.

     

    This company also has lot of great plug-ins for CKEditor - http://doksoft.com/soft/ckutils/preview-upload.html

    Hi Sudarshan,

     

    I think I came across that one in my extensive search. Not sure why I didn't go with it because it looks good. Possibly because there was no trial before purchase.

     

    The problem I found was many that I did try threw some kind of error or the documentation on how to integrate it with CKeditor was so convoluted that it would mean more to me had it been written in Chinese.

     

    At $20 dollars I guess its worth taking the gamble of a purchase and if it works it works, if it don't it don't.

     

    I'll have a think.
