Font licensing problems for fonts that have no licensing restrictions

Is anyone else having problems exporting documents to PDF that have fonts without licensing restrictions...but InDesign says they have licensing restrictions and will not create the file for export? Alan Den and Touch of Nature are the two. I downloaded Alan Den from the publisher's website and it said there were no restrictions there...then I downloaded Touch of Nature from Dafont, and it said there were no restrictions there. Did I have bad information? Am I wrong? If I'm right, how do you get around this problem?

Those both appear to be fairly old fonts (being listed on the UnAutorized Type website in both Windows and Mac TT and T1 flavors, but not OT). It's possible that the author did not correctly set the resticiton bit in the font and ID can't tell it is not restricted. There's a contact link on the site...

Alan Den's flag for embeddibility is not set according to the desires of the author. I also downloaded from UnAuthorized Type's web site. Contact him.
