Transforming images to fit a screen

Mar 15, 2013 1:02 PM

Hi,

I'm working on a video for a teacher at school. It involves him teaching for a bit, his whiteboard needs to have the slides on.

We filmed from two cameras simultaneously  - neither straight on to the board. Is there any way to rotate the slides so as to make them fit the board?

Thanks,

James

Try Edit > Transform > Distort

or Edit > Transform > Perspective

    or Perspective Crop Tool.

Slides or Video?  If slides are frame from the video you took of his board not strait on they will have some perspective.  You may be able to use Photoshop perspective crop tool to square them and look as though they were shot head on..

The Vanishing Point filter can render grids as if on perspective-distorted planes and you can use the grids as guides. It can also create an actual 3D layer if you have Photoshop Extended.

If you create a Smart Object and perspectivally distort it then the SO can act as a template into which you load other images to render the images with that distortion.

Would that be the same PCT as suggested in reply #1 and reply #2 ?
