AD4ServiceManager CPU Utilization

When opening an InDesign Layout (from a DAM system) via Drive, we notice that the AD4ServiceManager Process on the Mac consumes 80% to 100% of CPU, and the response is very sluggish.  Has anyone else encountered this issue before. It takes a few minutes for the doc to load up, and after that any action (placing graphics etc) or right click on the menu takes atleast 2-3 minutes.
