Why does InDesign not export the entire file into epub?

Mar 15, 2013 3:48 PM

I am releasing a book on Ebooks.  I tried to export to .epub and the file that I got looks great in terms of formatting for ebooks.  The problem is, out of 281 pages, only 150 was exported into the .epub document.  Out of 26 chapters, only 20 are present.  Why it doing this?  Am I missing a key part of the exporting process?  Or is it the way I added the text into Indesign?

What version of InDesign? What operating system? Was the book a single InDesign document, or was it a book file? If it was a book file, to export all the chapters, make sure none of them are highlighted (selected) in the book panel when you choose Export to EPUB. Click on the gray area below the book list.

And what application(s) are you using to view the exported EPUB? I recommend looking at it in more than one.
