PSE 6 can't open Rebel T3 RAW file.

I just bought the Canon Rebel T3 and shot off a few pics using RAW. But when I try to open them with PSE 6, it tells me it can't do it. I HAVE the 6.4 update installed. What am i doing wrong?

Can you please check here and check if your camera is supported for 6.4 http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cam eras.html

yes it is. the Canon Rebel T3.

Hi,

According to the Read Me file for ACR 6.4

"The Camera Raw 6.4 plug-in is not compatible with versions of Photoshop earlier than Photoshop CS5 or versions of Photoshop Elements earlier than Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows and Photoshop Elements 8 for Mac. "

So I'm not sure how you applied it or whether it is compatible.

You may need to upgrade PSE or download the free DNG converter.
