Hi, I am in desperate need for help and am somewhat out of my depth.
I have just purchased an intuos 5 which came with bundled software, ( some of which cannot be down loaded ) .
I have installed the corel and have sorted that but am really stuck with photoshop.
I have no idea where to start and have no knowledge of the programme.
Can I use Elements for creating logo's ? and if so where do I start
Thanks for any advise.

Just start here:
<http://tv.adobe.com/show/learn-photoshop-elements-11/>
And after that, buy books for Dummies from these links:
You can use PSE for creating logos, but it's not the best choice, since to be truly useful a logo is usually created as a vector object, which is infinitely resizable. Drawing programs like painter or Illustrator are more suitable. You can draw a logo design in PSE, no problem, but it will degrade when sized larger than 100%.
Hi
Thanks for your advise really appreciate it.
The photoshop software that came with the intuos 5 is element 10, but you have pointed me in the right direction.
Do you have any idea why the Sketch pad autodesk and sketch book express 11 wont download?
I have a 4 month old full spec new mac book pro which i keep updated any ideas?
Thanks again
Actually, I meant to say corel draw, but you have a mac, so that's no good.(Painter isn't a vector drawing program.) You might want to check out easydraw and intaglio. I think they both have demo versions available, and there are many others as well. Pixelmator is due for an update that includes many more vector tools, but it's not clear if it will allow you to export in vector formats.
