Hey adobe =D.

so in the pursuit of my flash game i need a bit of help.

(i am using Flash MX, and am very new to flash)

Q.

So i want to make a movie clip that has 2 frames in it. FRAME 1: contains an image and a red cross drawn onto it. FRAME 2: has just the image and no cross.

using _global.lunchbox = 0; id like it to change from cross to no cross when _global.lunchbox = 1;

to be honest i dont even have a clue as to what code is responsible for switching a movie clip.

please use simple english =D.

Thank you.

    When the value of lunchbox changes, change the frame of the movieclip using the instance name of that movieclip to target it....

    _global.lunchbox = 1;  // you hvae this already somewhere

    image_mc.gotoAndStop(2);  // to tell the movieclip to go to frame 2
