how to anchor photos to listings in directory so they stay on the outside of page w/ text flow

I am trying to anchor photos to listings in a directory - is there a way to make them stay on the outside of page when the text flows to right or left page?

Set the anchor position "relative to spine."

In Object > Anchored Object > Options, check Relative to Spine.
