I am trying to use adobe reader to compile a pdf from an assortment of word, excel, and powerpoint files. Some of the powerpoint files have landscape featured slides with graphics on them. They convert to PDF and the graphics are chopped in half and are continued on the next page or the next next page. Is there a way to fix this?! Thanks.
Definitely not with Reader.
Reader does exactly as it says.
it views (reads) PDF. except with certain rights its allowed to fill out and email forms.
in Reader XI you are allowed to fill out forms without reader rights if you intend to Print out.
You will need Acrobat to do certain editting features even some of those are limited. And PDF you can Create PDF's.
I'll just add: if a PDF is bad in this way there is no fixing it in ANY PDF software, Acrobat or anything. It's a problem with the software that makes it, and that's where you'd need to turn for a fix.
(Though Acrobat would provide an alternative way of making the PDF that might not show the problem).
