Timeline looping problem

I have created a successful 24 frame animation gif using photoshop layers and putting them into timeline. I have saved it for web, and checked the Once option. I have checked the looping option to 'Once', but when I play it or place it in an email it loops forever.

It only plays once when I open it in the web browser, or when I preview it in photoshop. Do I need to buy something? Or... help

    Nope, this is nothing you can influence in the GIF itself. That's either a fixed behavior in some programs or can be configured by the user...

    As a workaround you could try setting the duration of the last frame to be a very long time.

    Sounds like a very good creative solution. I am sure it will do the job. I suppose I should have Flash or something similar. I only create minimal animation for presentations, web etc. so it is never a big deal.

    Thanks anyway, someone suggested setting last frame to a very long time. Sounds hopeful
