Edited in the wrong frame rate

Mar 19, 2013 7:50 AM

I've just fininshed my edit of red footage shot in 24fps. Was ready to export when I discovered that my settings were set to 23.976. How do I correct this?

Was thinking of copying to a new sequence but not sure if it is that easy. Thanks in advance for the help!

You sure the footage is actual 24 fps, and not 23.976?

If so, a copy/paste would be the way to go here.

If you do as Jim suggests, you can clear up any doubt about frame rate by dragging a clip onto the Create New Item icon at the bottom of the Project Panel..  Premiere will then create a new sequence which has the same parameters as your clip.

    Then carry out Jim's Copy/paste.
