I have downloaded the patch but it wont install and the program says there are not updates available
Try Help > Updates
Exactly what i meant, i did that and it says everything is up to date

Try updating from Bridge or AAM while PR is not running.
Exactly how do i update from bridge, rarely use it sorry and what is AAM?
1. Open Bridge, click on Help, click on Update. Updates usually will not install if the program to be updated is running.
2. Adobe Application Manager
Okay so for the record i downloaded new Adobe App Manager, then installed CS6 again which was version 6.0.0, then was able to install the connector extension for plural eyes and also update to the new version as well
