Enter text edit box without mouse click

Say I am moving a text box with the arrow keys and decide to edit it. To do so, I would have to leave the arrow keys and reach for the mouse to execute the text edit. How do I edit from the keyboard? thanks a bunch!

Do you use the Cmd(Ctrl) key to access the Selection Arrows? If you use these, you can keep the text tool active.

the behaviour: select item with mouse copy and paste a text box with a mouse, which returns to the duplicated item selected and ready to be moved with the arrow keys, which right now is edited after I click it with the mouse. I want to edit without that click. Cmd clicking it does not work with copy paste (within my knowledge perhaps that is)

you may want to click it with the mouse right after you make a copy of it, while your hand is still on the mouse, then after you edit it you press Esc and move it with the arrow keys.
