When trying to open Adobe PhotoDeluxe 4.0 Friday, a window opened saying there was not enough RAM memory. Earlier in the week I had upgraded to 1,5 gigs of RAM.
I am 71 and have used Adobe PhotoDeluxe for a dozen plus years. Never any problems when I was using Windows 95, 98, or XP with far less RAM.
I've been told by a computer service tech that the installation of Windows XP Service Pack 3 caused this to occur. Nothing I do, and I know very little to do, helps. I've downloaded the Adobe update 4.0.1 for this program.
Hi there! Because the forum you originally posted in is for beginners trying to learn the basics of Photoshop, I moved your question to the Photoshop General Discussion forum, where you'll get more specialized help.
PhotoDeluxe was discontinued many years ago, and no longer even has support forums.
It was written for much older OS versions, and more limited machines -- so you've probably exceeded it's capabilities.
THANKS very much for your reply and help.
I found my answer at
and it worked at #4 response or blog.. I just had to increase my virtual memory.
PhotoDeluxe is so simple to use and it does all I want it to. I'm sorry Adobe decided to end support for it.
