I have my website nearly finished, but am still having issues with its display in IE. The navigation bar (spry menu) has a white box over it and you can only see the text when you hover over it. (I believe this has to do with the z-index? I've read some solutions say div tags can be added around the problematic code, add position: absolute; before the z-index. However, I don't know how to do this because I made the website in Design mode and didn't work with the code much.) Additionally, the there are boxes around the images that have been inserted - why is this? None of this shows up in Modzilla. It looks fine in Chrome as well....why does it look so bad in IE??!! Any help would be very much appreciated as it was our hope to have the website officially "live" earlier this week....
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! You are fantastic! I don't know how to thank you enough. The white is gone!! Finally. Thank you!
Another question if that's okay? When I did that I also had to change the z-index. I changed it to 0 just to see if it would help changing the color. It worked, but it also moved some of the drop down options to the other side of the navigation bar. Do you know how to fix this as well?
I don't know the whole coding lanugage very well at all. The drop down options under "About" were in the correct spot before I changed the z-index to 0. Shouldn't they go back to the originial location if I just change the z-index back to 2000?
