So, when I have two closed-path objects resting against one another (say two squares, edge-to-edge) I see a very thin white line / gap at certain zoom levels, mostly when zoomed out or at 'fit art... to window'. However, when I zoom waaay in, the gap vanishes.
The question is, which zoom level do I trust? Application is for print.

150% and those reachable from it by DoubleClicking the Zoom In/Out (including all those divisble by 3) should be tight against rifts in the time space continuum.
Same here. Zoom levels fail on all planes of existence. I went FULL SAIYAN last tuesday and have generally been in a flaming, transcendental state since. This could be the problem. Has Adobe released CSTransDimensional yet? I hear it only costs 60 souls per universal cycle.
I forgot to mention that you may need to have her face present to make it work.
But neither of you seem to have any reason for worry.
Apart from that we do have a few rather conspicuos ongoing rifts in this very forum.
Hi Kurt. No snow?
