I'm trying to re-install CS6 on my Windows 8. Starts but disappears.

I'm trying to re-install CS6 on my Windows 8. Starts but disappears and does not install. I have installed CS5 and Lightromm with no problems.  How can I get it installed? CS5 and CS6 are upgrades.

    Do you receive any specific error messages?  Which Creative Suite 6 software specifically are you trying to install?
