How do I export to print high quality photos?

Mar 22, 2013 10:30 PM

I am new to Lightroom and love it so far, but I am getting very frustrated because I can not find anywhere where it will show me in the books and tutorials on line how to export my images to a file on my computer in JPEG in a high quality for printing large prints?  I have done several to e-mails and facebook.  But struggling to figure out how to do it correctly for prints.  I would like to submit them to a photo lab, but I am afraid I don't have the correct settings.  If someone could help me I would greatly apprecite it.

THank you

Elsa

Go to Print module and scroll down the right side panel until you see a panel labelled 'Print Job'. Just under the header bar you'll see a drop down menu labelled 'Print to'. Select the drop down menu and choose JPFG instead of the default of Printer. Attached screenshot might make it clearer.

The same panel also gives you output options for setting the quality of the JPEG, the colour profile to be embedded and level of sharpening.
