Reusable Clips

Mar 23, 2013 3:33 PM

I'm sure this has been answered before, but I just can't find it.

I have a short lead-in clip that I want to insert at the begining of all my videos. Is there some way I can export/publsh the clip so I can import it later into other videos? I've tried various "Publish /Share" alternatives, but they all result in significant quality losses. What I've been doing up to now is starting each new project by with the 'prel' of the lead-in clip and the saving it under a new project name befor bringing in other media. There must be a less cumbersome way.

Thanks

Hello, Beau2013. You can't find it because you're in the wrong forum. This one is for Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements has its own forum. I'll move this for you.

Place the WorkAreaBar over your clip

Export your clip with Share WorkBarArea Only checked.

If the clip is SD use DV-avi.

If the clip is HD use mp4 H264 1920x1080.

Now you can import the clip for each new project.

The scroll bars, that reveal additional options, are not that evident, and too easy to miss.

    Good luck,
