inTS file the AC-3 is not taken into account in CS6

Mar 25, 2013 1:38 AM

Hello,

I have read the dicussion support about AC-3 already happened to some users.

I have applied the following steps below but nothing happened, the result is always the same ?? The AC-3 track didn't appear on the timeline, only the video track

0) Update into CS 6.0.3.

1) Quit Premiere. Launch Premiere again. Go to the Help menu and verify that you are activated (towards bottom, should see "Deactivate..." that signifies that you are activated).

2) Go to Preferences > Media > Media Cache Database. Click the "Clean" button. Import your file(s) again and see if you get audio now.

3) If 1 and 2 do not work, then could you please try to uninstall and then install Premiere Pro again.

Please, could you give me a support

FYI,  My TS file work well with VLC player.

Thanks in advance

Manu

Please type your posts directly into the forum instead of copy/paste.  Doing that leaves the following code throughout your post.

    p style="background-color: #ffffff; font-family: adobe-clean,'Helvetica Neue',Arial,sans-serif;"

    Try this:

Deactivate Pr by using Help>Deactivate.  Close Pr.  Reboot. Launch Pr and activate it.

Is it stereo or multichannel Dolby Digital?  Or is it something like Dolby TrueHD?

That looks like a Blu-ray or DVD rip.  It contains Dolby Digital Plus, which Pr likely can't decode because it's not backward compatible with standard DD decoders.  It's also got multiple audio steams, which may cause problems as well.

Re-rip with only a core audio stream and try importing again.
