Are the specs (size) for the hard drive the C drive and is that the drive you installed Photoshop Elements 11 (eleven) on?

If you have a recovery volume or some other smaller hard drive maybe somehow pse 11 set the scratch disk to that.

Just after you start the launch of the pse 11 editor hold down the Alt+Ctrl keys and keep holding the keys until you get a dialog as

below and choose Startup in the first drop-down and then press OK.

That is strange if your windows 7 operating system is on the C drive and you installed pse 11 on the C drive, i really can't

think of another cause besides your drive being low on space.

Did pse 11 editor ever work and have you tried the pse 11 organizer to see if that starts?

Does right clicking on the photoshop elements 11 shortcut and clicking on Run As Administrator make any difference?

And we are taliking about photoshop element eleven and not something like photoshop elements two?
