Mar 31, 2013 7:29 AM

What is this? Some things print others not so much. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my Dell printer and still get this message. Why?

did you find the needed dll file?  if yes, then just copy the file to your windows directory.

download the latest driver to your desktop: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/driverdetails?driverid=R1 02523

    and then:

1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled 922ENA04.exe.
2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or
unzip to C:\DELL922. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
Setup.exe) file can be found later.
    3.The Self-Extractor window appears.
    4.Click OK.
5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
6.Click the Start button and then click Run.
7.Type C:\DELL922 in the Open textbox and then click OK.
    8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

are you having any problem when printing a plain text document?

are you having any problem when printing from a non-adobe program?

with which adobe program are you having a problem?

is there a pattern to which documents print and those that trigger the bitmap error message?

attach a screenshot of the error message.
